1. Check your internet connection and try again

  1. From the home screen, tap the "Settings" icon.
  2. Tap "Wi-Fi."
  3. Tap the "Settings" button next to your Wi-Fi network.
  4. Tap the "Connection" tab.
  5. Tap the "Check" button.
  6. If your Wi-Fi connection is not stable, try connecting to another network.

3. Update the game

  1. Launch the game and log in.
  2. Go to the "Settings" tab and select "System Update."
  3. Click the "Download and Install" button.
  4. When the update is finished, click "Close."
  5. Click "Play" to start the game.
  6. If the error code 1101 still appears, try the following steps: a. Delete the "update.xml" file in the "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\rocketleague\Binaries\Win32" folder. b. Delete the "rocketleague.exe" file in the "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\rocketleague\Binaries\Win32" folder. c. Update your graphics driver. d. Update your Windows operating system.

4. Reinstall the game

  1. Click the “Games” tab
  2. Locate the game you wish to reinstall and click on it
  3. Next, on the right hand side, you will see the “Origin Games” option. Click on this
  4. On the next page, you will be asked to select the version of the game you wish to reinstall. Click on the “Reinstall” button
  5. When the game has been reinstalled, you will be asked to restart your computer. Click on the “Restart” button
