How to fix chegg error code 4?

If you're seeing error code 4, it means that there's a problem with your account. This could be because your account is suspended, or there may be an issue with your payment method.

1. Check your internet connection and try again

  1. From the home screen, press the Menu key and select Settings.
  2. Select Network and press the Down Arrow key to select Internet.
  3. Select the connection you're having trouble with and press the OK button.
  4. If necessary, press the Reset button to try to fix the connection.
  5. If the problem persists, try to connect to the internet using a different device.

2. Make sure you are using the latest version of the Chegg app

The steps to follow in order to use the latest version of the Chegg app and to fix the chegg error code 4 are:

  1. Open the Chegg app and sign in.
  2. On the main menu, select "Settings."
  3. Under "App Version," select "Update App."
  4. If prompted, enter your password.
  5. The app will check for updates and install any available updates.
  6. After the updates are installed, select "OK."
  7. On the main menu, select "Settings."
  8. Under "App Version," select "Restart App."
  9. The app will restart and you will be using the latest version. If you are still experiencing issues with the Chegg app, please submit a support ticket and our team will be happy to help.

3. Log out of the Chegg app and then log back in

If you are having trouble logging in to the Chegg app, follow these steps:

  1. Tap the three lines in the top left corner of the app.
  2. Tap "Settings."
  3. Tap "Logout."
  4. Tap "Log In." If you are still having trouble logging in to the Chegg app, please contact us at support@chegg.com.

4. Delete the Chegg app and then reinstall it

  1. Open the Google Play Store on your device
  2. Search for and open the Chegg app
  3. On the app's main screen, tap the three lines in the top left corner of the screen
  4. In the "Remove" section of the menu that appears, tap the "Delete" button
  5. Confirm that you want to delete the app by tapping the "Delete" button again
  6. If you have any data saved in the app, you will be prompted to delete that as well. Tap the "Delete" button to confirm.
  7. Launch the Google Play Store again and reinstall the Chegg app. Tap the "Install" button at the bottom of the screen and select the app from the list
  8. Once the app has been installed, open it and tap the "Sign In" button in the top right corner of the screen
  9. Enter your user name and password and then tap the "Sign In" button again
  10. If you have any data saved in the app, you will be prompted to enter that information. Tap the "Sign In" button to continue.
