The Dometic thermostat E1 code is an error code that indicates that the thermostat is not receiving power. This can happen for a number of reasons, including a blown fuse, a tripped circuit breaker, or a loose wire.

1. Check the batteries in the thermostat and replace if necessary

  1. Open the door to the thermostat
  2. Disconnect the wires from the thermostat
  3. Remove the screws that hold the cover in place
  4. Carefully remove the cover
  5. Look for the batteries and replace if necessary
  6. Reattach the cover and screws

2. Clean the thermostat and the area around it

  1. Turn off the power to the thermostat by pressing the power button.
  2. Remove the screws that hold the cover in place.
  3. Lift the cover off of the thermostat.

4. Check that the RV is properly ventilated
