When you try to list an item on eBay, you may sometimes get the error code 70004. This error means that your listing cannot be created because eBay cannot determine the category you are trying to list in.

1. Check your internet connection

To check your internet connection in order to fix eBay error 70004, follow these steps:

  1. Open a web browser and go to www.speedtest.net.
  2. Click on the "Start Test" button and wait for the test to finish.
  3. Click on the "Results" tab and look for the "My Connection" section.
