1. Check your internet connection

  5. A message should appear stating "Your Amazon Fire Stick is now up to date."
  6. If the update did not fix your error code, you can try reinstalling the Amazon Fire Stick software. To do this, go to the Amazon Fire Stick app store and select the Fire Stick icon.
  7. On the app store home screen, tap on the Install button.
  8. Select the Amazon Fire Stick software you want to install and tap on the Install button.
  9. After the software is installed, go back to the Settings menu and select System.
  10. Under System, select About Amazon Fire Stick.
  11. At the bottom of the About Amazon Fire Stick screen, find the Build Number and tap on it seven times.
  12. A message should appear stating "Your Amazon Fire Stick is now up to date with software version."
