How do I fix the FTP 530 error?

FTP 530 is an error code that is typically caused by incorrect login credentials. This can happen if the user entered the wrong username or password, or if the FTP server is not configured correctly. This error can also be caused by a firewall or anti-virus software that is blocking the connection.

1. Check the login credentials

  1. Open your ftp client software.

  6. Verify that the ftp server is configured correctly.

3. Check the firewall settings

  1. Open the Control Panel.

  4. In the Firewall Settings window, click on the Rules button.
  5. In the Rules window, click on the ftp530 rule.
  6. In the ftp530 rule window, make sure that the Enable checkbox is checked.
  7. Make sure that the Port is set to 530.
  8. Make sure that the Protocol is set to TCP.
  9. Make sure that the Action is set to Allow.
  10. Click on the OK button.
