How to Fix Error Code 0xc000000d Windows 10?

The 0xc000000d error code is a very common error that occurs on Windows 10 computers. 1. Boot from your Windows 10 installation media

Boot from your Windows 10 installation media. Select your language, keyboard layout, and time zone. Click Next. Click Repair your computer. In the System Recovery Options window, select your edition of Windows, your language, and your keyboard layout. Click Next. In the System Recovery Options window, select your disk size and click Next. Click Repair your computer. On the System Recovery Options window, select your edition of Windows, your language, and your keyboard layout. Click Next. Click Finish.

2. Select “Repair your computer”

  1. On your computer, open the start menu and search for “repair your computer”.
  2. When the repair your computer window appears, click on it.
  3. On the next window, click on the “Advanced options” button.
  4. Under the “System Restore” heading, click on the “Next” button.
  5. On the “System Restore window” that appears, select the “Next” button again.
  6. On the “System Restore Settings” window that appears, select the “Full restore” option.
  7. Click on the “Next” button.
  8. On the “System Restore window” that appears, select the “Restart now” option.
  9. When the computer restarts, select the “Repair your computer” option.
  10. On the “Repair your computer” window, click on the “Next” button.
  11. On the “Repair your computer window” that appears, click on the “Fix your computer” button.
  12. On the “Fix your computer window” that appears, click on the “Next” button.
  13. On the “Fix your computer window” that appears, click on the “Install updates” button.
  14. On the “Install updates” window that appears, click on the “Next” button.
  15. On the “Install updates” window that appears, click on the “Finish” button.
  16. When the “Finish” button is clicked, the computer will restart.

3. Select “Advanced options”

  1. Open the Control Panel.
  2. Click on System and Security.
  3. Click on the Advanced options link.
  4. Click on the Windows Error Reporting option.
  5. Under the General tab, select the option that says “Enable error reporting for all programs”.
  6. Click on the App Management tab.
  7. Under the Application Management section, click on the Select a category button.
  8. Select the Program category.
  9. Select the Application category.
  10. Select the Microsoft Office category.
  11. Select the Office category.
  12. Select the Microsoft Office 2016 category.
  13. Select the Office 2016 category.
  14. Select the Microsoft Office 2013 category.
  15. Click on the Select all button.
  16. Click on the OK button.
  17. Click on the Close button.

Still not working? maybe try one of these options:

  1. Select “Troubleshoot”
  2. Select “Startup Settings”
  3. Click “Restart”
  4. Press 4 or F4 to boot into Safe Mode
  5. Once in Safe Mode, open the Start Menu and type “Command Prompt”
  6. Right-click on “Command Prompt” and select “Run as administrator”
  7. Type the following command and press Enter: bcdedit /set {default} recoveryenabled No
  8. reboot your computer and you should now be able to boot into Windows 10 without any issues.
