How do I fix the launcher error code 115?

This error code is usually caused by a problem with the game's installation files. There may be a problem with the game's registry entries, or the game files may be corrupt.

1. Restart your computer

  1. If your computer is currently running, close all open programs.
  2. Click Start, and then click Shut Down.
  3. Click Restart.
  4. Click OK.
  5. After your computer restarts, press F8 to open the Advanced Boot Options menu.
  6. Click Safe Mode with Networking.
  7. If you are using a Windows 8 or 10 computer, click Troubleshoot.
  8. Click Advanced Options.
  9. Click Startup Settings.
  10. Click Restart.
  11. After your computer restarts, press F8 to open the Advanced Boot Options menu.
  12. Click Safe Mode with Command Prompt.
  13. If you are using a Windows 8 or 10 computer, click Troubleshoot.
  14. Click Advanced Options.
  15. Click Startup Settings.
  16. Click Safe Mode with Command Prompt.
  17. At the command prompt, type cd c:\windows and press Enter.
  18. At the command prompt, type rstrui.exe and press Enter.
  19. Type list system and press Enter.
  20. You should see a line that says "Windows was unable to start the system due to an error. (Code: 1152)."
  21. Type rstrui.exe fixboot and press Enter.
  22. Type list system again, and this time you should see a line that says "Windows was able to start the system."
  23. Type exit and press Enter.
  24. Restart your computer.

2. Update your graphics drivers

  1. Go to the AMD website and download the latest drivers for your graphics card.
  2. Locate the folder where you installed your graphics card driver and open it.
  3. Double-click on the graphics driver file.
  4. Click on the "Update Driver" button.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions.
  6. Restart your computer if required.

3. Verify your game files

  1. Verify game files by comparing the files on your computer with the files that are provided by the game publisher.
  2. If the files are not matching, then you will need to replace the game files with the original files from the game publisher.
  3. If the files are still not matching, then you will need to troubleshoot the game file.

4. Delete your launcher cache

  1. Open the launcher and click on the gear icon in the top right corner.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Under General, select Delete Launcher Cache.
  4. Confirm the deletion.

5. Reinstall the game

  1. Open the "Steam" app on your computer
  2. Click on the "Games" tab
  3. Right-click on the game you wish to reinstall and select "Properties"
  4. Click on the "Local Files" tab
  5. Click on the "Verify Integrity of Game Files" button
  6. If the "Verify Integrity of Game Files" button is green, the game has been successfully reinstalled
  7. If the "Verify Integrity of Game Files" button is red, the game has not been successfully reinstalled and you will need to fix the launcher error code 115
