How do I fix the f0e9 code?

The Maytag f0e9 error code means that the washer is not draining properly. This can happen for a variety of reasons, such as a clogged drain hose or a problem with the drain pump. If the washer is not draining properly, it will not be able to spin the clothes properly and will cause the f0e9 error code.

1. Clean the drain hose

1.Remove the front panel of the dishwasher by pushing down on the handle near the front of the dishwasher. 2.Locate the drain hose. It is typically attached to the front of the dishwasher by two screws. Remove the screws and the hose. 3. Clean the inside of the hose using a cleaning brush. 4. Rinse the hose with water. 5. Screw the hose back onto the dishwasher. 6. Replace the front panel of the dishwasher.

2. Clean the drain pump

  1. Remove the drain pump by unscrewing the four screws that hold it in place.
  2. Clean the internal parts of the drain pump with a cleaning agent.
  3. Apply a thin layer of grease on the external parts of the drain pump.
  4. Screw the drain pump back in place and reattach the screws.

3. Clean the washer tub

  1. Turn off the water supply to the washer and unplug the washer.
  2. Remove the lid of the washer tub.
  3. Remove any large pieces of clothing or other objects that may be obstructing the drain.
  4. Clear the drain of any obstructions by using a plunger.
  5. Pour a pot of hot water into the washer tub.
  6. Shut off the water supply to the washer and unplug the washer.
  7. Remove the drain hose from the side of the washer tub.
  8. Place the drain hose into the pot of hot water.
  9. Turn on the water supply to the washer and unplug the washer.
  10. Allow the washer tub to fill with water.
  11. Place the washer tub lid back on and turn on the water supply to the washer.
  12. Remove the clothing or other objects that were removed in step 3.
  13. Place the plunger into the washer tub and place the drain hose over the plunger.
  14. Push the plunger down into the drain until the clothing or other object is clear.
  15. Turn off the water supply to the washer and unplug the washer.
  16. Remove the drain hose from the pot of hot water.
  17. Replace the drain hose and replace the lid of the washer tub.
  18. Turn on the water supply to the washer and unplug the washer.

4. Replace the drain hose

  1. Turn off the water to the machine by turning the valve to the "off" position.
  2. Remove the water basin by removing the three screws at the top.
  3. Remove the bottom cover.
  4. Detach the hose from the drain arm.
  5. Unclip the seal at the end of the hose.
  6. Pull the hose off of the arm.
  7. Install the new hose on the arm by aligning the seal at the end of the hose with the clip at the end of the arm.
  8. Replace the bottom cover and screws.
  9. Turn on the water to the machine and test the drain by filling the basin with water and turning on the water.

5. Replace the drain pump

  1. Open the dishwasher and locate the drain pump. It is a white, plastic part with a red wire coming out of it.
  2. Unscrew the drain pump from the dishwasher.
  3. Remove the old pump from the dishwasher by unscrewing it.
  4. Clean the inside of the dishwasher pump with a cloth or brush.
  5. Screw the new pump onto the dishwasher and tighten the screw.
  6. Reattach the red wire to the new pump.
