This error code indicates that there is a problem communication with the Pandora server. This can be caused by a number of things, including:
-The Pandora servers may be down for maintenance
-There may be a problem with your network connection
-There may be a problem with your computer's firewall
-You may be using an outdated version of the Pandora app
If you see this error code, we recommend checking the Pandora website or app to see if there are any reported issues. If not, then try restarting your computer and/or your router, and make sure that your firewall is not blocking the Pandora app.
1. Check your internet connection and try again
- Click on the "Settings" tab located at the top right hand corner of the Pandora app
- Click on "Network"
- Check the "Details" tab and make sure that your internet connection is up and running. If not, try restarting your internet connection or changing your router.
- If all else fails, try restarting your computer.
2. Try playing the station again
- Close Pandora and restart your device.
- Open Pandora and sign in.
- Tap the three lines in the top left corner of the screen.
- Tap the "Settings" tab.
- Under "General," tap "Reset."
- Tap "Yes."
- Tap "Close."
- Open Pandora again and sign in.
- Tap the three lines in the top left corner of the screen.
- Tap the "Station" tab.
- Under "Stations," tap the name of the station you were trying to play.
- Tap "Play."
3. Visit the pandora help center
- Open the pandora help center by clicking on the "Help" button on the main screen.
- Select "Settings" from the menu on the left.
- Select "General" from the menu on the right.
- Click on "Error Code" from the list on the left.
- Click on "3008" from the list on the right.
- Click on the "Info" button to view more information about the error code 3008.
