1. Check your internet connection and try again

  1. Open the Google Chrome browser on your computer.
  2. Type "roblox" in the address bar and press Enter.
  3. In the Chrome browser, click the "Tools" button.
  4. Click the "Settings" tab.
  5. Under the "Advanced" heading, click the "Network" tab.
  6. In the "Network" tab, click the "Interfaces" button.
  7. In the "Interfaces" window, click the "LAN" tab.
  8. In the "LAN" tab, click the "Properties" button.
  9. In the "Properties" window, under the "Connection" heading, click the "Test" button.
  10. In the "Test Connection" window, under the "Connection Status" heading, click the "OK" button.
  11. If the "Connection Status" column says "Connected," click the "Close" button.
  12. If the "Connection Status" column says "Not connected," click the "Close" button and then try the steps again.
  13. If the "Connection Status" column still says "Not connected," contact customer service.

2. Try restarting your computer

  1. Restart your computer.
  2. If you are using a desktop computer, remove any USB devices from the computer.
  3. If you are using a laptop, remove any USB devices from the computer.
  4. If you are using a tablet, remove any USB devices from the tablet.
  5. Restart your computer again.
  6. If you are using a desktop computer, connect the power cord to the computer and plug it into an outlet.
  7. If you are using a laptop, connect the power cord to the laptop and plug it into an outlet.
  8. If you are using a tablet, connect the tablet to the computer with a USB cable.
  9. Click on the Start button and type in cmd.
  10. In the command prompt, type in the following: start /wait msconfig
  11. In the msconfig window, click on the Boot tab.
  12. In the Boot section, click on the Restart button.
  13. In the Restart Options window, click on the Choose button.
  14. In the Choose Boot Options window, click on the Restart button.
  15. When the computer restarts, you will see a message that says “Roblox has stopped working”.
  16. Click on the OK button to restart your computer.
  17. After your computer restarts, log on to roblox.com and try playing your game again.

3. Check for updates to roblox and your internet browser

  1. Open your internet browser and type "roblox" into the search bar.
  2. Click on the "roblox" website that appears.
  3. On the left-hand side of the roblox website, click on the "Updates" button.
  4. On the "Updates" page, click on the "Check for Updates" button.
  5. If there are any updates available for roblox, they will be displayed on the "Check for Updates" page.
  6. Click on the "Update Now" button to download the updates.
  7. If you are using a mobile device, tap on the "Update Now" button to download the updates.
  8. If you are using a computer, click on the "Update Now" button to download the updates.
  9. After the updates have been downloaded, click on the "Close" button to return to the roblox website.
  10. Click on the "OK" button to confirm that the updates have been installed.

4. Try using a different internet browser

  1. Open up your internet browser and type "chrome://settings/" into the address bar.
  2. Once you've reached the settings page, scroll down until you see the "Advanced" section.
  3. In the "Advanced" section, click on the "renchanneling" button.
  4. On the "renchanneling" page, you'll see a list of different browsers. Select "Firefox" from the list and click on the "add" button.
  5. Firefox should now be added to the "renchanneling" page and should be set as your default browser. You can close the settings page now.
  6. Try visiting roblox.com again and see if the error has been resolved.
