If the Windows is installed in an HDD with a bad sector, it is highly recommended to replace the HDD. You may use the HDD with the bad sector as a secondary HDD. Performing Check disk in Command prompt. Diagnose your HDD or SSD for any error.

    1. Option 1. Click Windows Start type CMD, then right-click Command Prompt and then select Run as Admin.
      Option 2. Right-click Windows Start and select Command Prompt (Admin).
    2. Type inchkdsk /r.
      NOTE: For external Hard Driver or secondary Hard driver, please use this. Chkdsk X: /F, where X is the letter assigned to your external HDD.
    3. Wait until it is done.
    4. Windows will tell you if an error is detected or not.
