1. Set the DNS server to 8.8.8.8

  1. Select Settings
  2. Select System Settings
  3. Select Network Settings
  4. Select DNS
  5. In the DNS Server field, type 8.8.8.8
  6. Press the A Button to Save
  7. Exit System Settings

2. Set the MTU to 1500

  1. Go to the Wii Settings Menu.
  2. Select Wii System Settings.
  3. Select Network Settings.
  4. Under the TCP/IP heading, select MTU.
  5. Set the MTU to 1500.
  6. Click OK.
