1. Restart your Xbox One console

  1. If your Xbox One is not in use, turn it off by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console and then selecting Turn off Xbox One.
  2. Wait 5 minutes before turning on the Xbox One.

  2. Select Settings.

  4. Select Reset Xbox One.

4. Take your Xbox One console to a repair shop

  • Power off the Xbox One console
  • Remove the power cord from the back of the Xbox One console
  • Remove the screws that hold the top cover in place
  • Remove the top cover
  • Locate and remove the xbox one motherboard
  • Replace the xbox one motherboard if necessary
  • Replace the fan if necessary
  • Reinstall the top cover and screws
