1. Restart your computer and try again

2. Update your video drivers

  1. Open Device Manager

  3. Right-click on the video card and select Properties
  4. On the Driver tab, select the Update Driver button
  5. Browse to the location of the latest driver files and select them
  6. Click the Update Driver button
  7. Restart your computer
  8. Once your computer has restarted, check to see if the video card has been updated
  9. If the update was successful, you will now be able to use your video card with updated drivers

3. Try running the game in compatibility mode

  1. Start the game in compatibility mode.
  2. If the game crashes or does not load, please follow the instructions below for a possible fix.
  3. If the game runs but has graphic issues or crashes frequently, please try the following:
  • Disable all graphic enhancements.
  • Disable all anti-aliasing.
  • Disable MSAA.
  • Disable anisotropic filtering.
  • Disable hardware texture compression.

4. Verify the game files through Steam

  1. Open Steam and sign in.
  2. Choose your game from the Library list.
  3. Right-click on the game and select "Verify Files."
  4. Select the appropriate location for the game files.
  5. Click "Verify."
  6. If any errors are detected, fix them and click "OK."
  7. Click "Close" to finish verifying the game files.

5. Delete the game files and reinstall the game

  1. First, start up your computer and sign in to Xbox Live.
  2. Next, head to the Xbox menu and select My Games & Apps.

  4. On the main menu screen, select Settings.
  5. Select System and then select Storage.
