  1. Open a terminal emulator and type the following command: xrdb -load /usr/local/lib/xre/xrefresh.xrdb
  2. If the command is successful, you will be prompted to enter the path to the X server. Type the following command and press Enter: xserver-xorg -nvidia
  3. If the command is successful, you will be prompted to enter the path to the X configuration file. Type the following command and press Enter: xconf-load
  4. If the command is successful, you will be prompted to enter the path to the X session configuration file. Type the following command and press Enter: xsession
  5. You will now be prompted to choose between the X server and X session configuration files. Type the following command and press Enter: xserver-xorg -nvidia
  6. You will now be prompted to choose between the X server and X session configuration files. Type the following command and press Enter: xsession
  7. You will now be prompted to choose between the X server and X session configuration files. Type the following command and press Enter: xserver-xorg -nvidia
  8. You will now be prompted to choose between the X session and X server configuration files. Type the following command and press Enter: xsession
