1. Restart the computer

2. Check if the computer meets the system requirements for Zoom

  1. Open the Windows Control Panel
  2. Select System and Security
  3. Select Administrative Tools
  4. Under System Protection, select Check for updates
  5. Select Windows Update
  6. Under Related Updates, select Device Driver Update
  7. Select Zoom
  8. Under the Update Type drop-down, select Rollup Package
  9. Under the Update Details section, select Install
  10. Click OK to close the Windows Update window
  11. If the Zoom update is successful, the system will return to the normal Windows Update screen. If the Zoom update is not successful, the system will return to the System and Security window, and a message will indicate that the Zoom update was not successful. In this case, the Zoom update may need to be reinstalled.

3. Update the computer's operating system

  1. Boot the computer into Safe Mode with Networking.
  2. Click on Start, and then click on Control Panel.
  3. Under System and Security, click on Update and Security.
  4. Click on Windows Update.
  5. Click on View All Updates.
  6. Select the update that corresponds to the operating system that is installed on the computer.
  7. Click on the button next to Install.
  8. When the update is installed, click on the restart button.
  9. After the computer has restarted, check to see if the zoom error has been fixed.
