How to fix Zoom error code 505?

Zoom error code 505 is a general error code that indicates a problem with the Zoom application. There are a number of reasons why this error code might occur, including a problem with the Zoom application itself, a problem with the device on which the Zoom application is installed, or a problem with the network connection.

1. Update your Android system webview

  1. Open the Settings app on your device
  2. Under System, scroll down and select WebView
  3. On the WebView tab, find the Update button and tap it
  4. On the next screen, select the checkbox next to the software version you want to update to and press the OK button
  5. When the update is complete, press the reboot system button to restart your device

2. Update your Chrome browser

  1. Open Chrome and click on the three lines in the top right corner.
  2. Select Settings from the menu that appears.
  3. On the Settings page, click on the Show advanced settings link in the bottom right corner.
  4. Under the Network section, click on the Advanced button.
  5. In the Advanced Network Settings section, click on the Reset settings button.
  6. Click on the Reset settings button again.
  7. In the Reset Settings dialog box, enter the administrator password in the Enter password field.
  8. Click on the Reset button.
  9. Close Chrome.
  10. Reopen Chrome and click on the three lines in the top right corner.
  11. Select the Reset settings button.
  12. In the Reset Settings dialog box, click on the Reset button.
  13. Close Chrome.
  14. Reopen Chrome and click on the three lines in the top right corner.
  15. Select the Done button.
  16. Close Chrome.

3. Restart your device

  1. If your device is powered off, turn it on by pressing and holding the power button for a few seconds until you see the Android system recovery screen.
  2. If your device is not powered off, press and hold the power button until the device booting process starts and release the power button when you see the Android system recovery screen.
  3. From the Android system recovery screen, select the "wipe data/factory reset" option.
  4. Select the "reboot system now" option.
  5. Your device will restart and you will be back to the Android system recovery screen.
  6. Select the "install zip from SD card" option and select the "install zip from SD card" option again to confirm.
  7. Select the "choose zip from SD card" option to select the zoom error code 505 zip file that you downloaded from the Google Play Store.
  8. Press the "install" button to install the zoom error code 505 zip file.
  9. Once the zoom error code 505 is installed, select the "go back" option and press the "back up now" button.
  10. Select the "reboot system now" option to complete the installation.

4. Clear your Chrome browser cache and cookies

  1. Open Chrome browser and click on "Chrome Menu" in the top right corner.
  2. Click on "Settings" in the Chrome Menu.
  3. Under "Advanced" tab, click on "Clear browsing data" button.
  4. In the "Clear browsing data" window, click on "Remove everything" button.
  5. Finally, click on "Clear cache" button to clear your Chrome browser cache and cookies.

5. Reset your Chrome browser settings

To reset your Chrome browser settings:

  1. Open Chrome.
  2. Click on the three lines in the top right corner of the browser window.
  3. Click on "Settings".
  4. Under "Advanced settings", click on "Reset browser settings".
  5. In the "Reset browser settings" dialog box, click on "Reset".
  6. Click on "Close".
  7. restart your computer.

6. Disable any Chrome browser extensions

  1. In Chrome, open the extensions page by clicking on the three lines in the top right corner of the browser window.
  2. In the extensions page, find the extension you want to disable and click on the "Disable" button.
  3. If the extension was installed from the Chrome web store, Chrome will prompt you to confirm that you want to disable the extension. Click on the "Disable" button.
  4. If the extension was installed from another source, such as an unsecured website, it may not be possible to disable it. In this case, you will need to remove the extension from your computer. To do this, follow the instructions provided by the extension creator.
