How do I fix a Medtronic pacemaker?

Marcapasos medtronic is a device that helps regulate the heart's rhythm. It is implanted under the skin and sends electrical impulses to the heart to help it maintain a normal rhythm. This error code happens when the device detects an abnormal heart rhythm and sends a shock to the heart to try to correct it.

1. Change the battery

  1. Remove the battery cover by gently pulling it off the battery.
  2. Remove the battery by gently prying it up with a flathead screwdriver.
  3. Label the positive and negative posts with a marker so you can reattach the battery correctly.
  4. If the battery has a plastic cover, remove it.
  5. Clean the battery contacts with a cloth and a little rubbing alcohol.
  6. Insert a new battery into the battery compartment and press it down until it clicks into place.
  7. Replace the battery cover and screw it in place.
  8. Reconnect the electrical connector.

2. Clean the leads

1.Remove the leads from the pacemaker. 2. Clean the leads with a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. 3. Dry the leads. 4. Reconnect the leads to the pacemaker.

3. Replace the leads

  1. Remove the battery cover by unscrewing the two screws at the base
  2. Remove the six screws securing the cover to the medtronic
  3. Remove the cover and gently pull out the leads
  4. Clean the leads and connector surfaces with rubbing alcohol
  5. Install the new leads by screwing the cover back on to the medtronic, and securing the screws
  6. Replace the battery cover and reattach the screws

4. Adjust the settings

1.Open the Marcapasos Medtronic app on your phone. 2.Tap on the three lines in the top left corner. 3.Select Settings. 4.Select Audio. 5.Select the Output Mode. 6.Select Mono or Stereo. 7.Select the Quality. 8.Select the Delay. 9.Select the Level. 10.Select the Delay Time. 11.Select OK.

5. Replace the device

  1. Remove the battery pack.
  2. Remove the screws that secure the top cover.
  3. Lift the top cover off.
  4. Remove the screws that secure the battery cover.
  5. Remove the battery cover.
  6. Remove the screws that secure the sensor assembly.
  7. Lift the sensor assembly off.
  8. Disconnect the wires from the sensor assembly.
  9. Remove the screws that secure the sensor bracket.
  10. Lift the sensor bracket off.
  11. Disconnect the wires from the sensor bracket.
  12. Remove the screws that secure the sensor.
  13. Lift the sensor off.
  14. Disconnect the wires from the sensor.
  15. Replace the sensor.
  16. Replace the sensor bracket.
  17. Replace the screws that secure the top cover.
  18. Replace the screws that secure the battery cover.
  19. Replace the top cover.
