The 10054 error code is a Windows-specific error code that indicates a connection has been reset. This can happen for a number of reasons, but is most commonly caused by a firewall or anti-virus software blocking the connection.

1. Check your internet connection

  1. Open the Windows "Network and Sharing Center".
  2. Click on "View network connections".
  3. Right click on the internet connection you are having trouble with and select "Properties".

  5. Check the "Packets per second" and "Bytes per second" values. If they are not what you expect them to be, then you may need to troubleshoot your internet connection.

2. Check the settings in your email client

  1. Open your email client and sign in.

3. Check the settings on your email server

If it is disabled, you will need to enable it. 10.Click on the "Save" button.

4. Check the email server's status

The first step to check the email server's status in order to fix 10054 is to open an elevated command prompt. Next, you will need to type "netstat -ano" and press Enter. This will display all of the active connections on the email server. Next, you will need to find the connection that is causing the problem with 10054. To do this, you will need to use the "netstat -an" command again and filter for the connection that is causing the problem. Once you have found the connection, you will need to kill the process that is causing the problem. To do this, you will need to use the "kill" command and specify the connection name. After killing the process, you will need to restart the email server.

5. Contact your email service provider

  1. Login to your email account and click on the "Inbox" link at the top of the page.
  2. On the "Inbox" page, click on the "Settings" link in the top right-hand corner.
  3. On the "Settings" page, click on the "Email" tab.
  4. On the "Email" tab, click on the "Contact Us" link.
  5. On the "Contact Us" page, enter your email address and click on the "Submit" button.
  6. On the "Contact Us" page, you will be sent an email confirming that your request has been received.
  7. You will then be sent a confirmation message asking you to verify your contact information.
  8. You will then be sent a message asking you to confirm that you want your email service provider to contact you about the issue.
  9. You will then be sent a message confirming that your email service provider has been contacted and will be working to fix the issue.
