How do you fix ADT fc code?

ADT FC stands for "Advanced Data Transfer Flow Control". This error code happens when there is a problem with the data transfer between the two devices. The most common cause of this error is a bad connection between the two devices.

1. Uninstall and reinstall the ADT plugin

  1. On the ADT Plugin installation page, click Uninstall.
  2. On the Uninstall page, click Yes to confirm.
  3. On the Uninstall page, click Next.
  4. On the Confirm Uninstall page, click Yes to confirm.
  5. On the Uninstall page, click Finish.
  6. On the ADT Plugin installation page, click reinstall.
  7. On the reinstall page, select the ADT Plugin version you want to install.
  8. On the Install page, click Install.
  9. On the Installation Completed page, click Close.

2. Check for updates to the ADT plugin

  1. Launch ADT and go to the Administration tab.
  2. Click on the Plug-ins button.
  3. Click on the Updates button.
  4. Check for updates and install any that are available.
  5. Restart ADT.
  6. Check for updates again and install any that are available.

  8. If all of the updates have been installed and the code still does not work, then there may be a problem with the ADT plugin. Please contact support for assistance.

3. Check your ADT version

  1. Open ADT and go to Home > Security > ADTFCode > Edit
  2. On the left, select your ADT version.
  3. On the right, under "ADT FC code version", select the version that you are using.
  4. Under "ADT FC Code version information", be sure to include the version number and the build number.
  5. Click Save.

4. Delete your current project and create a new one

  1. Go to the "Projects" tab and select your project.
  2. Click on the "Delete Project" button.
  3. Click on the "Create a New Project" button.
  4. Enter a new name for your project and click on the "Create Project" button.
  5. Select the "ADT FC" project template and click on the "Next" button.
  6. Review the project settings and click on the "Finish" button.
  7. Click on the "Import Project Files" button and select the "adt-fc.xml" file that you copied earlier.
  8. Click on the "Finish" button.
  9. Click on the "Start" button to open the project.
