  5. Click OK to close the System Configuration window.

  7. On the System Configuration window, under the Boot tab, click the Safe Boot button.
  8. In the Boot Options window, select the Last Known Good Configuration option.
  9. Click OK to close the System Configuration window.
  10. Click Start, type cmd in the Start Search box, and press Enter.
  11. At the command prompt, type cd C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc.
  12. At the command prompt, type shutdown -r now.
  13. Restart your computer.
