1. Run the game as an administrator

  1. Open the Roblox Windows desktop client.
  2. Click the Roblox icon in the Windows taskbar.
  3. On the Roblox window, click the Game Manager tab.
  4. On the Game Manager tab, click the Run As Administrator button.
  5. On the Run As Administrator dialog box, click OK.
  6. In the Roblox window, click the Play button.
  7. In the Play dialog box, click the Games tab.
  8. On the Games tab, click the Error Code 268 game.
  9. In the Error Code 268 game window, click the Settings button.
  10. On the Settings button window, click the Gameplay button.
  11. On the Gameplay button window, click the Settings tab.
  12. On the Settings tab, under Gameplay Options, click the Enable Cheats check box.

2. Re-install the game

  1. Open the Roblox app and sign in
  2. Click the "Games" tab and select the game that you're trying to fix

  4. On the next screen, select the disk that you installed the game to and click "OK"
  5. The game will start installing and you'll be prompted to choose a spot to save your game
  6. Once the game is installed, click the "Play" button on the right and select your character
  7. If the game crashes after you start it, go to Step 8.
  8. If the game still crashes, go to Step 9.
  9. Go to the "Roblox" app and sign out
  10. Go to the "Roblox" app and click the "Games" tab
  11. Select the game that you're trying to fix and click the "Remove Game" button
  12. On the next screen, select the disk that you installed the game to and click "OK"
  13. The game will be removed from your account and you'll be prompted to enter your password to finish the process

3. Delete the "RobloxPlayerBeta.exe" file

  1. Go to your Windows PC and open the "C:\Program Files (x86)\Roblox\RobloxPlayerBeta.exe" file.
  2. Right-click on the RobloxPlayerBeta.exe file and select "Delete".
  3. Click on "Yes" to confirm the deletion.

4. Clear the Roblox cache

  1. On your Roblox account, open the Settings menu.
  2. Click on the Privacy tab.
  3. Under the "Clear Cache" heading, click on the "Clear All Data" button.
  4. If prompted, enter your Roblox password in order to continue.
  5. If you have any apps installed on your device, make sure to uninstall them before clearing the cache.
