When trying to watch a Hulu TV show or movie on your computer, you may receive an error code 201. This may mean that your computer is not compatible with Hulu, or that you may not have the correct Hulu software installed. If you are using an unsupported browser, or if you do not have the correct Hulu software installed, this error may occur. To resolve the issue, you may need to update your browser or install the correct Hulu software.

1. Check your internet connection - is it strong and stable?

There are a few ways to check your internet connection:

  • Use an internet speed test tool like speedtest.net or fast.com to test your download and upload speeds.
  • Check to see if other devices in your home are able to connect to the internet.
  • Restart your modem and router.
  • Check with your internet service provider to see if there are any outages in your area. If your internet connection is still not working, try contacting Hulu customer support for further assistance.

2. Check your Hulu account - is it active and up to date?

  1. Check your internet connection: Before you begin, check your internet connection to make sure it's working properly.
  2. Sign in to your Hulu account: Go to hulu.com and sign in with your email address and password.
  3. Check your subscription status: Your subscription might be inactive or expired. To check, go to hulu.com/account and look under "Your Plan."
  4. Update your payment information: If your subscription is inactive, you'll need to update your payment information. To do so, go to hulu.com/account and click "Update Payment Method."
  5. Contact Hulu support: If you're still having trouble, contact Hulu support for help.

3. Verify your network connection - is your computer connected to the internet via a wired or an ethernet connection?

There are a few steps that you can take in order to verify your network connection and fix Hulu error code 201. First, you will want to check and see if your computer is connected to the internet via a wired or an ethernet connection. If it is, then you will want to make sure that all of the cables are properly plugged in and that your router is turned on. If your computer is not connected to the internet via a wired or an ethernet connection, then you will want to check to see if it is connected to a wireless network. If it is, then you will want to make sure that the signal is strong enough to reach your computer. If you are still having trouble connecting to the internet, then you may want to try restarting your computer. Sometimes, this can help to reset your connection and fix any errors that may be causing the problem.

4. Try another browser - if Hulu is not working in your default browser, try using a different one

If Hulu is not working in your default browser, try using a different one.

  1. Open your preferred browser.
  2. Navigate to the Hulu website.
  3. Try to play a video.
  4. If the video does not play, or you see an error message, try using a different browser.
