How can I fix the Loot error code 12?

Loot error code 12 is a connection error that can occur when trying to connect to the game servers. This error can happen for a variety of reasons, including:

-The game servers are down for maintenance

-The user's internet connection is too slow or unstable

-There is a problem with the user's firewall or antivirus settings

-The user's account is banned or suspended

This error code can be frustrating for users, as it can prevent them from being able to play the game. However, it is usually a temporary issue that can be resolved by restarting the game or checking the user's internet connection.

1. Check for updates to the game

  1. Launch the game and sign in
  2. On the Home tab, click the Updates button
  3. On the Updates page, click Check for updates
  4. On the Check for updates page, click Yes, update my game
  5. On the updates page that appears, click Install updates
  6. On the updates page that appears, click Install updates
  7. On the following screen, click Install updates
  8. On the install updates screen, click Install
  9. On the following screen, click OK
  10. On the following screen, click Finish
  11. On the following screen, click OK
  12. On the following screen, verify that the "Loot error code 12" message has disappeared
  13. If the "Loot error code 12" message still appears, follow the steps in the "Fixing Loot Error Code 12" section below.

2. Delete the loot folder and restart the game

  1. In Steam, open the Steam client and sign in.
  2. If you don't have Steam installed, go to http://store.steampowered.com and purchase it.
  3. In Steam, open the Library.
  4. Right-click on the game Loot and select Properties.
  5. On the General tab, click on the Delete Local Files button.
  6. Click on the OK button.
  7. Close the Properties window.
  8. Click on the Play button to start the game.
  9. If you experience any issues after deleting the loot folder, you can restart the game to fix them.

3. Verify the game files through Steam
