When you try to print a document, you may receive an error message saying "Printer not activated, error code -30." This error can occur for a few reasons:

-The printer is not turned on.

-The printer is not connected to the computer.

-There is a problem with the printer driver.

If the printer is turned off, simply turn it on and try to print again. If the printer is not connected to the computer, make sure the cable is plugged in and the printer is turned on.

If the printer is turned on and connected, but you're still receiving the error message, there may be a problem with the printer driver. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the printer driver.

1. Check the printer's power supply and make sure it is plugged in and turned on

  1. Check the printer's power supply by plugging it in and turning it on.
  2. If the printer power supply is working, check the printer's connection cables by plugging them into the printer and the computer.
  3. If the printer connection cables are working, check the printer's power switch.
  4. If the printer power switch is working, check the printer's power cord.
  5. If the printer power cord is working, check the printer's outlet.
  6. If the printer is plugged in and turned on, the problem is most likely with the printer's power supply. Check the power supply and make sure it is plugged in and turned on.

2. Check the printer's cable and make sure it is securely connected to the computer

  1. Verify that the printer cable is securely connected to both the printer and the computer.
  2. If the printer cable is not securely connected, follow the instructions in the printer's documentation to reconnect the cable.
  3. If the printer still does not work, verify that the computer is connected to the network and to the printer.
  4. If the computer is connected to the network and the printer, verify that the printer is connected to the computer with the correct cable.
  5. If the printer is connected to the computer with the correct cable, verify that the computer is connected to the network.
  6. If the computer is connected to the network and the printer, verify that the printer is set to the correct port.
  7. If the printer is set to the correct port, verify that the computer is set to the correct printer driver.
  8. If the computer is set to the correct printer driver, verify that the printer is set to the correct printer.
