Solution 1. Spam-signing into the PlayStation Network (PSN)

“PS3 network error 80710b36” may occur due to a busy server or the server is overcrowded. Check the PSN server here to verify. If the server down, try again later. If the server is up, you may want to repeat it consecutively until you successfully sign in.

If it does not work, try to reset your PSN password and rename your PS3 name. Then try to sign in to the PSN multiple times.

Solution 2. Power cycle PS3 and modem router

“PS3 network error 80710b36” may also be caused by a cache problem. You may want to turn off then plug out from the power source, both your PS3 and modem router for at least three minutes. This will clean the cache, which may be causing the problem on both devices. It will refresh the connection. After this, try to sign back from the PSN.

If the issue persists, check the PSN server, here again, they might be under emergency maintenance and did not able to update PSN status earlier. Also, check for System Update.
