1. Restart your device and try again

  5. If you don't see a message that says "There are new updates available for the Google Play Store app," tap the menu icon (three lines in a horizontal row), and then tap Force stop.
  6. If the Google Play Store app is open, it will close, and a new window will open that says "Update your Google Play Store app." Tap OK.

4. Uninstall and reinstall the Google Play Store app

  1. Open the Google Play Store app on your device
  2. Tap on the Menu button (three lines in a blue box on the upper right corner)
  3. Tap on the Uninstall button
  4. Tap on the OK button
  5. Tap on the red X in the top right corner to confirm the uninstallation
  6. Tap on the Install button
  7. Enter your Google Play Store account password and tap on the OK button
  8. The Google Play Store app will now be reinstalled on your device
