  4. Click on the "Advanced" button.
  5. Under "Scan Type," select "Full Scan."

  7. If the "Start Scan" button is not available, you can access it by clicking on the "Advanced" button and then on the "Start Scan" button.
  8. Windows Defender will start scanning your computer for viruses and other malware.
  9. When the scan is complete, Windows Defender will display a progress bar and will give you the option to save the scan results.
  10. Click on the "Save" button.
  11. Windows Defender will save the scan results to a file on your computer.
