Solution 1. Download and install the third-party player

Windows Media Center Decoder error may appear when your media player does not support the file format or the file is corrupted. If the file is corrupted get a new copy of the file. If your media player does not support the file, please download the third-party player. Please see example below. Make sure to download the latest version to avail the latest codec.
