Solution 2. Restart Xbox One

If the Xbox live services status is up and running, you may want to restart your Xbox One.

    1. Turn off your Xbox One, by pressing the power button for 8 to 10 seconds
    2. Then unplug it for three minutes.
    3. Turn the unit back on.
    4. Sign in to Xbox Live.
    5. If it fails, wait for a few minutes and try again.

Xbox One error code 0x80a40019 may occur when your home network or your internet service provider (ISP) has a problem. The connection could be intermittent, or your ISP is under maintenance. To verify this problem please see below.

  1. Could be caused by a weak WiFi signal, change to a wired connection or look for a better spot for WiFi connection.
  2. See if your internet speeds it in good condition. Do a benchmark on this website speedtest.net. Call internet service provider (ISP) if the connection is in bad condition.
  3. If internet speed is in good condition, restart the Xbox One and the modem router. See solution 2.
