How to fix BDO Error Code 15001?

The bdo error code 15001 is a common error code that occurs when trying to update or install a new program. This error is usually caused by a corrupt or missing file. When this happens, Windows is unable to read the necessary files and will display the error message. This error can be fixed by downloading and installing the latest version of the program.

1. Restart your computer and try again

  1. Open the Start menu and select "Shutdown"
  2. Select "Restart" from the menu options
  3. Enter your administrator password when prompted to do so
  4. Select "Restart computer" from the menu options
  5. Windows will restart and attempt to fix the issue.

2. Update your graphics drivers

  1. Go to the Nvidia website and download the latest drivers for your graphics card.
  2. Extract the downloaded drivers to a temporary folder.
  3. Go to the Windows Update tab in the Control Panel and click on the Check for Updates button.
  4. If there are new drivers available, Windows will download and install them.
  5. Once the drivers have been installed, go back to the Nvidia website and download the latest game update for Battlefield 1.
  6. Extract the downloaded game update to a temporary folder.
  7. Go to the Windows Update tab in the Control Panel and click on the Check for Updates button.
  8. If there are new game updates available, Windows will download and install them.
  9. Once the game updates have been installed, go back to the Nvidia website and download the latest graphics drivers.
  10. Extract the downloaded graphics drivers to a temporary folder.
  11. Go to the Windows Update tab in the Control Panel and click on the Check for Updates button.
  12. If there are new graphics drivers available, Windows will install them.
  13. Once the graphics drivers have been installed, go back to the Nvidia website and restart your computer.
  14. After your computer has restarted, you should be able to play Battlefield 1 with the updated graphics drivers.

3. Reinstall Black Desert Online

  1. Navigate to the installation folder of Black Desert Online.
  2. Delete the "data" folder and all of its contents.
  3. Copy the "data" folder from your old installation to the installation folder of Black Desert Online.
  4. Launch Black Desert Online and press the "F2" key to open the "options" menu.
  5. Click on the "system settings" button.
  6. Under the "installation" tab, click on the "uninstall" button.
  7. Click on the "yes" button when the uninstaller asks you to delete the old installation.
  8. Click on the "reinstall" button.
  9. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the game.
  10. After the game has been installed, click on the "login" button to enter your account information.

4. Run the game in compatibility mode

  1. Click the "Settings" button in the top right corner
  2. On the "Settings" page, click the "Compatibility Mode" button
  3. Click the "Run in Compatibility Mode" button
  4. Select the "Windows 8" or "Windows 10" platform from the dropdown menu
  5. Click the "OK" button
  6. Click the "Play" button to start the game
  7. If the game crashes after starting in compatibility mode, try reinstalling the game
  8. If the game still crashes, try running the game in fullscreen mode

5. Delete the bin64 folder

  1. Navigate to the installation directory for BDO
  2. Delete the bin64 folder
  3. Reboot the computer

6. Verify the game files

  1. Open the game client and click on "Tools"
  2. Select "Options"
  3. Click on "General"
  4. Scroll down to the "Debugging" section and make sure that the "Enable debug logging" is checked
  5. Click on "Save"
  6. Click on "Close"
  7. Right-click on the "B Do" folder and select "Open with"
  8. Select "Notepad"
  9. Copy and paste the following code into Notepad: "C:\Program Files (x86)\BTOGame\B Do\B Do.exe" /log:C:\B Do\Logs\bdo.log
  10. Click on "Save"
  11. Close Notepad
  12. Launch the game
  13. If the error code is resolved, the game will crash shortly after loading. This is normal and should not be treated as a problem. If the error code is not resolved, please continue to the next step.
  14. Open the game client and click on "Tools"
  15. Select "Options"
  16. Click on "General"
  17. Scroll down to the "Debugging" section and make sure that the "Enable debug logging" is NOT checked
  18. Click on "Save"
  19. Click on "Close"
  20. Right-click on the "B Do" folder and select "Open with"
  21. Select "Notepad"
  22. Copy and paste the following code into Notepad: "C:\Program Files (x86)\BTOGame\B Do\B Do.exe" /log:C:\B Do\Logs\bdo.log
  23. Click on "Save"
  24. Close Notepad
  25. Launch the game
  26. If the error code is resolved, the game will crash shortly after loading. This is normal and should not be treated as a problem. If the error code is not resolved, please continue to the next step.
  27. If the game still fails to load after following the previous steps, please file a ticket with our support team.
