How to fix Error Code 0x8024a10a?

There are a few reasons that you might see the 0x8024a10a error code when trying to update Windows. The most common reason is that the Windows Update Services is not running. Other reasons can include a corrupt update file, or a problem with the Windows Update Agent.

4. Try using the Microsoft Update Catalog

  1. Navigate to the Microsoft Update Catalog website.
  2. Search for the appropriate update for your version of Windows.
  3. Download the update.
  4. Install the update.

5. Use a different internet connection

If you are receiving the error code 0x8024a10a when trying to update your Windows PC, it may be caused by a problem with your internet connection. To fix this error, you will need to use a different internet connection to update your Windows PC. Here are the steps to do this:

  3. Start the BITS, MSI Installer, Cryptographic, Windows Update and Background Intelligent Transfer Services. To do this, type the following commands at a command prompt, and press Enter after each command: net start wuauserv net start cryptsvc
