How to Fix Error Code 495 in the Play Store

Error code 495 is usually caused by a problem with the Google Play Store's cache or data. This can be caused by a number of things, such as a corrupt file, a bad download, or a problem with the Google Play Store itself. Clearing the cache and data can often fix this problem.

1. Clear the Google Play Store cache and data

The first step is to open the Google Play Store on your device. The next step is to tap on the Menu button and then on the More options button. The next step is to select the Settings option. The next step is to select the Data and storage option. The next step is to select the Clear data option. The next step is to select the Clear cache option. The next step is to confirm the Clear data and cache options. After clearing the data and cache, you may need to re-download some of your apps if they were not downloaded to the Play Store before.

2. Update the Google Play Store app

  1. Open the Google Play Store app on your device
  2. Tap on the three lines in the top left corner of the screen
  3. Select "Settings" from the menu that appears
  4. Tap on "General" from the menu that appears
  5. Under "Software Update" on the left, tap on "Check for update"
  6. If there is an update available, you will be prompted to download and install it
  7. Once the update is installed, tap on "Ok" to finish
  8. Once the update is installed, you will need to restart your device in order to apply the changes

3. Check your date and time settings

  1. Open the Google Play Store
  2. Tap on the Menu button (3 horizontal lines in the top left corner)
  3. Select Settings
  4. Under General, select Date & Time
  5. Select your time zone and adjust the date and time accordingly
  6. Tap on Save
