How do I fix my Frigidaire Gallery Dishwasher?

The Frigidaire Gallery dishwasher troubleshooting error code can happen for a variety of reasons. 1. Check the water supply

  1. Check the water valve. This is typically on the side of the dishwasher. If it's not functioning properly, the dishwasher won't be able to get water to it and will not run.
  2. Check the water line. If the dishwasher is getting water but not washing the dishes, the water line may be blocked. Check to see if there is any debris or foam on the line.
  3. Check the dishwasher detergent. If the dishwasher is not cleaning dishes, the detergent may not be working. Check to see if the dishwasher has been using the recommended amount of detergent.
  4. Check the dishwasher water temperature. If the dishwasher is not getting water at a cold enough temperature, it may not be able to function. Make sure the water line is not frozen and that the water meter is not broken.
  5. Check the dishwasher drain hose. If the dishwasher is not draining properly, the drain hose may be blocked.

2. Check the drain hose for clogs

To check the drain hose for clogs, turn off the power to the dishwasher and disconnect the drain hose from the dishwasher. Use a plunger to clear any obstruction from the drain hose. Reconnect the drain hose and turn on the power to the dishwasher. Wait five minutes for the dishwasher to complete its cycle. Check the drain hose for clogs. If there is an obstruction, replace the drain hose.

3. Clean the filters

First, turn off the dishwasher by unplugging the power cord. Next, remove the filters from the top of the dishwasher by pulling them out from the front of the machine. Make sure you remove the correct filter for your machine, as not all dishwashers have all three filters. Once the filters are removed, use a damp cloth to wipe down both the filters and the dishwasher interior. Replace the filters and put the dishwasher back in operation.

5. Clean the interior of the dishwasher

  • Open the dishwasher door and remove all the dishes.
  • Remove the detergent dispenser by pressing down on the silver tab and pulling it out.
  • Remove the dishwasher spray arm by unscrewing it from the top of the dishwasher.
  • Remove the dishwasher drain hose by unscrewing it from the bottom of the dishwasher.
  • Remove the dishwasher spray arm by unscrewing it from the top of the dishwasher.
  • Remove the dishwasher detergent filter by unscrewing it from the top of the dishwasher.
  • Rinse all the parts in warm water and dry them off.
  • Replace the dishwasher spray arm by screwing it on from the top.
  • Replace the dishwasher detergent filter by screwing it on from the top.
  • Replace the dishwasher drain hose by screwing it on from the bottom.
  • Replace the detergent dispenser by screwing it back in.
  • Close the dishwasher door and start the dishwasher.
  • Check to see if the dishwasher is cleaning dishes properly.
