1. Turn off the appliance and disconnect it from the power source

  1. Unplug the appliance from the power source.
  2. Look for the “lock” switch on the front of the appliance.
  3. To turn off the appliance, press and hold the lock switch for two seconds.
  4. To disconnect the appliance from the power source, twist the power cord plug to the left.

2. Check the wire harnesses behind the appliance for any loose or damaged wires

The first step is to remove the cover of the appliance. Inside you will see the wires coming out of the back. Disconnect each wire and inspect it for any damage. If there is any damage, replace the wire. Once the wires are inspected, reattach the cover and test the appliance. If the error code still persists, replace the wire harness.

3. Inspect the door latch for any damage

  2. Remove the latch if it is removable.

  4. Replace the door if it requires repair.

4. If the door latch is damaged, replace it with a new one

  1. Open the door and remove the old latch.

5. Turn on the appliance and see if the error code still appears

  9. Replace the top cover.
  10. Reinstall the front panel.
