1. Restart your computer

  1. Shut down your computer.
  2. Unplug your computer's power cord.
  3. Wait ten seconds.

  7. On the "Check for Updates" page, select the "Active" option
  8. On the "Check for Updates" page, select the "Update Now" button
  9. On the "Update Now" page, select the "Yes, Update My Account" button
  10. On the "Yes, Update My Account" page, enter your password and select the "Update My Account" button
  11. On the "Update My Account" page, select the "Sign In" button to complete the process

3. Check for updates to your phone

  1. Open your phone's Settings app
  2. Tap on "About Phone"
  3. Tap on "Software Update"
  4. If there is an update available, it will be listed
  5. If there is an update available, you will be asked if you want to install it
  6. Tap on "Yes, Install"
  7. The update will be downloaded and installed
  8. Once the update is installed, your phone will restart
