1. Restart the PlayStation 3

  1. Turn off the PlayStation 3 by holding the Power button on the front of the console for 5 seconds.
  2. Wait 30 seconds, then turn the PlayStation 3 back on by pressing the Power button again.
  3. The console should now boot up normally. If the problem persists, try restarting the PlayStation 3 in Safe Mode.
