How do I fix DirecTV signal loss on some channels?

The 771 error code indicates that your DIRECTV® receiver is having trouble communicating with your satellite dish. The receiver is unable to receive a signal from the dish, which may be caused by bad weather, a loose cable connection, or a misaligned dish.

1. Check all connections to your TV and the DirecTV receiver
