How to fix error code 2813-2470?

This error code is caused by an issue with the installation of the Microsoft .NET Framework. This can happen if the files that are needed to run the framework are not installed correctly, or if the framework is not properly registered with Windows.

1. Restart your computer and try again

  1. Power on your computer.
  2. If you are using a desktop or laptop, remove the battery and/or unplug the power cord.
  3. If you are using a desktop or laptop, press the power button to turn off the computer.
  4. Wait at least five seconds before pressing the power button to turn on the computer.
  5. If you are using a desktop or laptop, press and hold the power button for about 10 seconds to turn off the computer.
  6. Wait at least five seconds before pressing the power button to turn on the computer.
  7. If you are using a desktop or laptop, press and hold the power button for about 20 seconds to turn off the computer.
  8. Wait at least five seconds before pressing the power button to turn on the computer.
  9. If you are using a desktop or laptop, press and hold the power button for about 30 seconds to turn off the computer.
  10. Wait at least five seconds before pressing the power button to turn on the computer.
  11. If you are using a desktop or laptop, press and hold the power button for about 40 seconds to turn off the computer.
  12. Replace the battery or plug in the power cord.
  13. Press the power button to turn on the computer.
  14. If you are using a desktop or laptop, press and hold the power button for about 5 seconds to turn on the computer in Safe Mode.
  15. If you are using a desktop or laptop, open the Start menu and type “cmd”.
  16. Press the enter key.
  17. Type “poweroff” and press the enter key.
  18. Type “reboot” and press the enter key.
  19. Press the power button to turn off the computer.

2. Update your drivers

  1. Open Device Manager by clicking Start > Control Panel > Device Manager.
  2. Under the Device Manager category, right-click the device that is causing the error code and select Update Driver.
  3. In the Driver Update Wizard, click Next.
  4. In the Select Driver File dialog box, browse to the location of the driver file and click Open.
  5. Click Next.
  6. In the Confirm Driver Update dialog box, click Yes.
  7. Click Update.
  8. If the driver update fails, repeat the steps to update the driver.

3. Try a different USB port

  1. Disconnect all cables from the device.
  2. Insert the device into a different USB port on your computer.
  3. Reconnect all cables to the device.
  4. Try connecting the device to the computer.

4. Try a different USB cable

  1. Locate the USB port on the device that is experiencing the error.
  2. Locate the USB cable that is connected to the device.
  3. Inspect the cable for any breaks or damage. If the cable seems to be damaged, remove it from the device and replace it with a new cable.
  4. Connect the USB cable to the device and the other end to a USB port on a computer.
  5. If the device starts up and recognizes the cable, it is likely that the problem is with the cable and not the device. If the device does not start up or recognizes the cable, the problem may be with the device. In this case, you will need to replace the device.

5. Try a different USB device

  1. If the device you are trying to use is a hard drive, remove it from the computer and connect it to another computer.
  2. If the device you are trying to use is a USB memory stick, remove it from the computer and connect it to another computer.
  3. If the device you are trying to use is a camera, remove the memory card from the camera and connect it to another computer.
  4. If the device you are trying to use is a printer, connect the printer to the computer.
  5. If the device you are trying to use is a keyboard, connect the keyboard to the computer.
  6. If the device you are trying to use is a mouse, connect the mouse to the computer.
  7. If the device you are trying to use is a monitor, connect the monitor to the computer.
  8. If the device you are trying to use is a sound card, connect the sound card to the computer.
  9. If the device you are trying to use is a network card, connect the network card to the computer.
  10. If the device you are trying to use is a DVD drive, connect the DVD drive to the computer.

If the answers above didn't work then you should also try:

  1. Check for loose connections.
  2. Try another computer.
