1. Test Hard drive

“File system error (-2018375670) may be caused by a faulty hard drive. Test your hard drive by running a command chkdsk in your command prompt.

NOTE: If you cannot access your desktop or finish the chkdsk process due to BSOD, please use your Windows installation DVD or USB.

Option 1.

  1. Run Command Prompt as Admin.
  2. In the Command prompt, run chkdsk /r and then press Enter key.

  3. If the result has a bad sector, please replace your hard disk drive.
    If the hard disk drive tested good, test the memory using solution 3.

Option 2.

  1. Boot your Windows installing USB or disc.

  3. Then follow this path, Troubleshoot >> Advanced Option >> Command prompt.
  4. In the Command prompt, run chkdsk /r and then press Enter key.

2. Fix registry

"File system error (-2018375670)" may also occur if a registry may be missing or damaged. You may able to recover it by running a code "regback." Please see below how to use the code.

  1. For Windows 10: Click Troubleshoot ==> Advance Option ==> Command prompt.
    For Windows 7: Select Repair your computer in Advance boot option and then select Command prompt in System Recovery Options window.

  2. Type "C:" press enter key ==> "dir"press enter key ==> "cd \windows\system32/config" press enter key ==> "mb backup" press enter key ==> "copy . backup"press enter key ==> "CD" regback" press enter key ==> "dir" press enter key ==> "Copy . .." press enter key ==> "A" (note: must be) Capital A press enter key.

  3. Then, close Command prompt and click continue.

3. Test Memory

“File system error (-2018375670) may also be caused by faulty memory, that has a loose connection or has a dirty gold pin. You may want to clean the gold pin of the memory, then connect it properly. 4. Reinstall Windows
