How To Fix Disney Plus Error 401?

The Disney Plus error 401 is a code that indicates that the user's access token has expired. This can happen for a number of reasons, but is typically caused by the user not using the Disney Plus app for a period of time. When the user tries to access Disney Plus again, they will be prompted to log in and will receive the error 401 if their access token has expired.

1. Check your internet connection

  1. Go to the Disney Plus website.
  2. Click on the "My Account" tab.

2. Restart your device

  1. From your home screen, swipe left to access the Settings app.
  2. Tap on General.
  3. Tap on Reset.
  4. Tap on Hard Reset.
  5. Tap on Reboot System now.
  6. You will be prompted to enter your device's password. Type in your password and press Enter.
  7. Your device will restart and you will be taken to the main screen.
  8. Tap on Disney Plus.
  9. Tap on My Account.
  10. Tap on Sign In.
  11. Enter your Disney Plus account credentials and tap on Sign In.
  12. You will be taken to the My Account screen.
  13. Tap on My Subscriptions.
  14. Tap on the Disney Plus subscription you wish to unsubscribe from.
  15. Tap on the Unsubscribe button.
  16. Your Disney Plus subscription will be unsubscribed from and you will be taken to the My Account screen.
  17. Tap on My Downloads.
  18. Tap on the Disney Plus app you wish to uninstall.
  19. Tap on the Uninstall button.
  20. Your Disney Plus app will be uninstalled and you will be taken to the My Account screen.
  21. Tap on My Profile.
  22. Tap on the Avatar icon.
  23. Tap on the Edit Profile button.
  24. Tap on the Delete Profile button.
  25. Your profile will be deleted and you will be taken to the My Account screen.

3. Clear the Disney+ app cache

Clearing the Disney+ app cache may resolve errors 401 and 407. On your device, open the Settings app. Tap Apps. Select Disney+ from the list of apps. Tap Clear Data. Follow the on-screen instructions.
