Solution 1. Replace USB cable

iPhone error 2003 may occur when you are not using certified Apple USB cable or the original Apple USB cable. It may also occur if your USB cable or the computer USB port you are using is faulty.

  1. Replace or borrow a USB cable. The USB cable must be high-speed, certified by Apple or the original Apple USB cable.
  2. If the error persists, remove all USB devices connected to the computer except for the keyboard and mouse, then try to update by testing all USB ports available.
  3. If the error still persists, try using another computer. Or, go to the Apple service center and let them restore your iPhone.
