How do I fix my Maytag Maxima error code F06 E01?

Maytag Maxima error code F06 E01 means that the washer is not draining properly. This error code can happen for a few different reasons, such as a clogged drain hose or a problem with the drain pump. If you see this error code, you should first check the drain hose to make sure it is not clogged. If the hose is clear, then the next step is to check the drain pump. If the drain pump is not working properly, it will need to be replaced.

1. Restart the washing machine

1.Turn off the power to the washing machine by unplugging the power cord from the wall outlet. 2.Remove the cover on the front of the washing machine. 3.Locate the reset button on the washing machine. 4.Push the reset button in until it pops out. 5.Return the reset button to its original position. 6.Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet and turn on the washing machine. 7.Select the cycle you were trying to restart by pressing the buttons on the front of the machine. 8.Wait for the machine to finish the cycle and then remove the clothes. 9.Clean any dirt or debris that was collected on the reset button.

  3. Check the connections at the washing machine.
  4. Replace the wiring or connections as necessary.

3. Check for any loose or damaged wires
