How do you fix dev error 5573?

1. Update your drivers

  1. Go to Device Manager and under the Display Adapters section, right-click on the graphics adapter and select Update Driver.
  2. Click on the Browse my computer for driver software link.
  3. Click on the Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer link.
  4. Click on the Update Driver Software button.
  5. Browse to the appropriate driver file and click on the Open button.
  6. Click on the Yes button to install the driver.
  7. Restart your computer.

2. Reinstall your drivers

  1. Go to the Device Manager.
  2. Double-click on the device that is having the error.
  3. Click on the Driver tab.
  4. Click on the Update Driver button.
  5. Click on the Browse my computer for driver software button.
  6. Locate and click on the CD-ROM or DVD drive that has the driver software.
  7. Click on the Browse button.

  9. Click on the Open button.

3. Try different drivers

  1. Uninstall the current driver and install the next driver that you try.
  2. If the next driver does not fix the dev error 5573, uninstall the driver and install the previous driver that you tried.
  3. If the previous driver does not fix the dev error 5573, reinstall the operating system.

4. Check for Windows Updates

  1. Open the Control Panel.
  2. Click on System and Security.
  3. Click on Windows Update.
  4. On the left side of the window, under Status, click on the Check for Updates button.
  5. If there are any new updates, they will be listed on the right side of the window.
  6. Click on the Update button to install the updates.

5. Try a different graphics card

  1. If the graphics card is a dedicated graphics card, remove it from the system.
  2. If the graphics card is a motherboard graphics card, remove it from the system.
  3. Install the new graphics card.
  4. Reconnect the power cable, if necessary.
  5. Reconnect the SATA and PCI cables, if necessary.
  6. Reconnect the keyboard, if necessary.
  7. Reconnect the monitor, if necessary.
  8. Reboot the system.
