How to fix Error Code 012 Samsung Smart TV?

1. Check the HDMI cable to see if it is properly plugged in

  1. Plug the HDMI cable into the HDMI port on the TV and the HDMI port on the device.
  2. Turn on the TV and the device.
  3. If the TV displays a message that the HDMI cable is not properly plugged in, follow the steps below to troubleshoot the issue.

  19. If you are using a Samsung Smart TV, you will need to input your 4 digit TV code.
  20. Press the menu button.
  21. Press the input button to change the TV input.
  22. Press the video button to change the TV output.
  23. Press the reset button to reset the TV.
  24. Press the power button to turn off the TV.
