Solution 1. Use RM Command to remove a file
“Error code 43 Mac” may occur when the file you are attempting to delete may be in use or is protected. You could force delete it using the MAC terminal and use the RM command. Please see below.
- Browse to Utilities by expanding the Go tab.
- Double click the Termanal to run it.
- In the Terminal, type in “rm”(space) and then drag and drop the file inside the Terminal.
This will automatically input the address of the file. - Press Enter to perform the RM command.
- Check if the file was removed and the “Error code 43 Mac” disappear.
Solution 2. Use Dot_clean Command
“Error code 43 Mac” may also occur if you are transferring a file that came from Windows, which is sometimes not recognized by MAC. You may use the terminal command Dot_clean for converting the file that MAC could read.
