How do you fix error code 7135?

An error code 7135 typically means that there is an issue with the drivers for the sound card on the computer. This can be caused by a number of things, but is most often caused by either outdated or corrupted drivers. In some cases, it may also be caused by a hardware issue.

1. Ensure that the correct printer is selected in the Print dialog box

  1. Open the Print dialog box by selecting File > Print from the menu bar.
  2. Locate the printer that you are trying to use and select it from the list on the left.
  3. On the right side of the dialog box, you will see an error code. If the printer that you are trying to use has an error code, make sure that you select the correct printer from the list on the right.
  4. Click OK to close the Print dialog box.

2. Check for printer drivers updates

Launch the Windows Update utility from the Control Panel. Select the Check for Updates button. Select the Drivers tab. Select the Update Driver Software button. Select the Browse my computer for driver software option. Select the Let me choose how to find and install driver software from a list of drivers on my computer option. Select the Have Disk option. Select the Browse for a driver software file on my computer option. Select the Let me choose to install the driver software from a specific location on my computer option. Select the Browse for a driver software file on my computer option. Select the Let me choose to install the driver software from a specific location on my computer option. Select the Install from a list of drivers on my computer option. Select the Scan for outdated drivers option. Select the Update Driver Software button. If an update is available, the Windows Update utility will present you with a prompt to install the update. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update.

3. Use a different printer driver

Printers can be configured in a variety of ways, which can lead to errors. In some cases, a different printer driver may be required in order to fix the error code. This can involve downloading and installing a new driver on the computer.

4. Check the printer's compatibility with the operating system and the application

  1. Open the Devices and Printers window.
  2. If the printer is connected to the computer, right-click it and select Properties.
  3. In the Properties dialog box, click the Ports tab.
  4. If the printer is connected to the computer using a network, select the network icon.
  5. If the printer is connected to the computer using a USB cable, select the USB icon.
  6. In the Ports List, double-click the printer's port.
  7. If the printer is connected to the computer using a network, select the network icon.
  8. If the printer is connected to the computer using a USB cable, select the USB icon.
  9. In the Printer Port dialog box, click the Properties button.
  10. In the Properties dialog box, click the Compatibility tab.
  11. In the Compatibility dialog box, click the Check button.
  12. In the Check Printer Compatibility dialog box, click the OK button.
  13. If the printer is compatible with the operating system and the application, the Check Printer Compatibility dialog box will report that the printer is compatible. If the printer is not compatible, the Check Printer Compatibility dialog box will report that the printer is not compatible and provide information about the problem.

5. Try printing from a different application

  1. Make sure the printer is turned on and connected to the computer.
  2. Open the application that was causing the error.
  3. Click on the "Print" button.
  4. On the "Print Options" window, click on the "Print from Other Application" button.
  5. Select the printer that you want to use from the list and click on the "OK" button.
  6. The error code should now be fixed and the print job should start printing.
