How to fix Roblox error code 280?

Roblox error code 280 is an error that can occur when trying to load a game or connect to a server. This error code is usually caused by a problem with your internet connection, but can also be caused by a problem with the game or server itself.

1. Restart your computer

  1. Press the Windows key + R to open the "Run" box.
  2. Type "cmd" and press Enter.
  3. On the "Command Prompt" window, type "shutdown -r now" and press Enter.
  4. Your computer will restart.

2. Check your internet connection

1.Open your web browser and go to the website where you were getting the error. 2.Click on the "Tools" menu and select "Internet Options." 3.On the "Connections" tab, click the "Settings" button. 4.Select the "TCP/IP" tab. 5.Under "General," check if the "Use the following DNS server addresses" box is checked. If it is, type the following IP addresses in the "DNS Servers" box: 8.8.8.8 8.4.4.4 6.If the "Use the following DNS server addresses" box is not checked, type the following IP addresses in the "DNS Servers" box: 8.8.4.4 4.2.2.2 7.Click on the "OK" button. 8.Close the Internet Options window. 9.Restart your computer. 10.Check your internet connection again.

3. Update your graphics card drivers

  1. Go to the official website of your graphics card's manufacturer and download the latest driver for your card.
  2. Install the driver on your computer.
  3. Restart your computer.
  4. Try to launch roblox. If the problem persists, you may have to reinstall your graphics card driver.
