How to fix Samsung TV not connecting to Wi-Fi?

If your Samsung TV won't connect to the internet, it may be because the Wi-Fi connection is not set up properly. The first thing to do is to check the Wi-Fi connection and make sure it is working. If the Wi-Fi connection is not working, you may need to set it up again. The second thing to check is the Samsung TV's network settings. Make sure the network settings are set up correctly. If the network settings are not set up correctly, the Samsung TV will not be able to connect to the internet. The third thing to check is the internet connection. Make sure the internet connection is working. If the internet connection is not working, you may need to set it up again.

1. Check that the TV is within range of the router

  1. Open a web browser on your computer and enter the router's IP address or DNS address.
  2. If you can see the router's main screen, the TV is within range. If not, try moving the TV closer to the router.
  3. If the TV still doesn't connect, make sure the TV is turned on and connected to the network.
  4. If the TV is connected to the network, check the cable or satellite box that's connected to the TV.
  5. If the TV is connected to the network and the cable or satellite box is connected to the router, make sure the cable or satellite box is turned on and connected to the router.
  6. If the cable or satellite box is connected to the router, make sure the TV is connected to the router with an Ethernet cable.

2. Check that the router is turned on and broadcasting

  1. Power on the router and wait a few seconds for it to initialize.
  2. In the main menu, scroll down to "Wireless Settings" and make sure that the router is broadcasting its signal.
  3. If the router is not broadcasting, then you will need to check the following:
  • Make sure that the router is properly plugged into an outlet and the power cord is properly plugged into the router.
  • Make sure that the router is in the correct wireless network range.
  • Make sure that the router's antenna is properly installed.

3. Check that the TV's network settings are configured correctly

  1. Select System Settings.
  2. Select Network.
  3. Verify that the TV is connected to the correct network and that the network is enabled.
  4. If necessary, adjust the network settings.

4. Check that the TV is not connected to another network

The first step is to try to connect the TV to the internet using a different network. If the TV can connect to the internet using a different network, then it is likely that the TV is not connected to the WiFi network. If the TV can't connect to the internet using a different network, the next step is to try to connect the TV to the WiFi network. If the TV can't connect to the WiFi network, the problem may be with the WiFi network or the TV.

5. Reset the TV's network settings

  1. Click on the Samsung TV’s main menu button.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Click on Network.
  4. Under Connection Settings, click on Reset Network Settings.
  5. On the next screen, click on Reset.
  6. The TV will now reset and re-connect to the network.
